2011-2013 Love Lace Powerhouse Museum
InterLace is an interactive lace installation created through an interdisciplinary collaboration with Dr Bert Bongers, Associate Professor of Interactivation, UTS. This work reimagines lace as a three-dimensional augmented digital environment for a viewer to encounter as a visual and sensory experience. Traditional expressions of lace are made contemporary, translated through innovative processes and digital technologies. The installation was a finalist and was runner up in the digital lace category of the International Contemporary Love Lace Awards held at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, curated by Lindie Ward.
