Laced is a textile panel that was inspired by the original lace curtain motifs I designed for Government House Sydney. In the lace curtains the leaf motif was woven as a lace netting however in this work I have abstracted the image to create a new lace pattern. The work was exhibited in 2007 at the UTS DAB:LAB gallery as part of a catalogue launch. It was acquired by the Powerhouse Museum along with process work and drawings for the Government House lace commission.
